School was briefly interrupted when the PE coach (AKA- the dog) got injured why chasing a tennis ball. We took her to the vet and learned she tore her CCL (Equivalent to the ACL in humans) . The only way to heal that was with a specialized surgery...

Week One: More Put Together Than the Public Schools

Well, it's exciting times over here.  Our philosophy is every kid, every year, we will decide what is best for them.  And this year has been a massive comedy of errors (and chaos from the beginning).

When the World Wasn't on Fire

Preparing to evacuate from a wildfire was an unusual part our summer, however, we were fortunate enough to do other things that were not threatened by smoke or flames.

The Year Summer Burned Up

Like so many communities across the country, our summer plans were interrupted by mother nature. We were halfway through a session of swim lessons when plans were altered by a raging, uncontrollable, wildfire.
