Swim Lessons and Summer Rain

These pass two weeks, the kids have been in swim lessons and we have gone swimming at the local pool with friends. J began swim team, too.

K and A1 are taking a mountain biking course with a pretty awesome coach if I do say so myself.

How many bikes can you fit in the back of your truck?

J has enjoyed lots of time with friends now that summer is here and schedules are more free. And we are working on making a video for a board game she created.

We also planted more in the garden.

Experimenting with planting peas and corn together.

Art for Kids Hub has videos where you can draw an animal using every letter. K has been working through the alphabet.
Fox- can you find the F?
G is for gecko
A1and K put together Crunch Labs kits.
K swiped J's hack pack and started to put it together, too. He loves to build.
He named the robot Steve after Minecraft

We are participating in the library reading program. This week we had a popcorn party with friends there.

In addition to that, these past couple of weeks we have been reading out loud the original Peter Pan and Wendy novel by J. M. Barrie. We have also watched a couple movie adaptations of Peter Pan and have compared them to the original book.

With warm weather here, we are making sure we have plenty of outdoor time in the cool mountains.

And A1 is learning how to mow the lawns.

We have also been enjoying nightly walks in the cool evenings.

It really is beautiful here.
