This week, the local school had some days off. We took advantage by having hours of friend time every day. This week we also did a lot of art projects.

For science, K built a crunch labs kit.
And A1 built a tower.
A seed we planted started to grow, too. So far we have one little plant. It should have been more by now, not sure if it is bad seeds or poor soil. Something to explore. We brought out the 10 and 20 sided dice for math again. I also converted a 6 sided dice into + and -. K rolled all three dice and then did the math problem.
This week, the kids worked more on their geography projects and J finished science in Mia Academy. She has completed all of her science, history, and language arts, with math being her only online class left. J and A2 have also been writing chapter books, while K is focusing on his penmanship. (Last year, he had weekly OT and we worked a lot at home to help him strengthen his fine motor skills and form correct letters. He's come such a long way.)
We have moved A1 back to a physical copy of math as he was getting lost with only online instruction. But he has picked up doing extra Mia Academy lessons in LA and science.
Like all schools, things aren't always perfect, and there are frequent adjustments to be made, but overall, the kids are learning.
