Making Paint, Growing Crystals, and Shoveling Snow

K's Mel science kit this week was making paint.

A1 pulled out an old Crunch Lab's kit to blow up a balloon.

And the crystals finished growing.

One glows in the dark.

In addition to the math, language arts, reading, and science that happened this week, we read more of our state's history and studied the human digestive system and human eye.  We expect to finish both history and elementary health by next week.

The best thing that happened for Coach this week was it snowed. She is built for the cold and thinks Utah really does have the greatest snow on Earth.

Of course, PE this week was throwing snow balls and tennis balls as far as you could for as long as you could.

PE also consisted of multiple beautiful hikes as we explored Southeast Utah. More details on that coming shortly.
