Week 51-52

 A Full Year!

The start of public school is just around the corner. Here are a few more things we have enjoyed during this less structured season.

We participated in a butterfly count,

Went on another hike for fun,

Celebrated our heritage,

And enjoyed time with family in the outdoors.

Week 49-50

The garden is in full swing.  It's my happy place, and the kids are troopers to help keep it free from weeds.

There's something so satisfying about a meal you create yourself.
J baked the bread and helped picked the peas.

We spent some more time around The Farm.

visiting horses

And playing with friends.

And enjoyed family time, too.

Sleeping on the trampoline

For PE, we also cleaned out our storage room as it was in desperate need of a paint job. The kids had a blast moving storage items with their floor scooters.

We even found this treasure from the previous owner.

We enjoyed some hiking.

For science, Scales and Tails came to our area. The boys dared touch the snake while the girls stayed away.

Played some Minecraft

Enjoyed the outdoors

It's been a good summer so far.

Week 47-48

We took a trip to Thanksgiving Point

Farm Country and Butterfly Sphere

We also went to Grandma's farm.
There's something so magical about wide open spaces where kids can run and play.

J loving the chicks

Granma's dog got to come stay with us for a couple weeks.

We did our best to keep the dog from missing her people too much.

The kids also built a fort,

And read in it.

We went to story time at the library and did some fine motor activities,

And baked at home.

Enjoying the summer!
